We are looking for a Murex Credit/Rate Technical Analyst – Front Office for our platform managing Front Office activities for interest rate products and credit derivatives. This critical international infrastructure operates 24 hours a day, thanks to a global network.

Discover your future responsibilities

 

  • Assist end-users in their day-to-day activities (especially Front-Office) and ensure ongoing communication with them.
  • Resolve incidents in collaboration with other Murex platform support teams.
  • Carry out regular production checks and maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with developers to solve production problems and propose new features.
  • Ensure effective communication and cooperation with local support teams in Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Bangalore.
  • Provide product training for end users
  • Good command of SQL/PL-SQL, Unix/script Shell and XML technologies
  • Practical experience with Murex 3.1
  • Control – M Scheduler (Control of updating or creating new scheduling tasks)
  • Geneos – Understanding the methodology and keeping the monitoring up to date
  • Deployment of modifications / Maintenance tasks (occasional weekends)
  • Good understanding of DataMart / MxML / Interfaces
  • Ensure delivery of files to our customers
  • Improve current practices, in particular by automating manual tasks

Your expertise

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets, including credit derivatives, fixed-income securities, repurchase agreements and interest-rate derivatives.
  • Excellent product knowledge (classic products), particularly in terms of valuation and sensitivity.
  • Excellent Front-Office skills.
  • Good knowledge of Murex Front-Office tools on MX.III (pricing, simulation, market data, standard reports).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills (contact with traders).
  • Previous experience in the offshore sector is an asset.
