What we can achieve together
When you join us, you’ll become part of our data expertise center. Your role will be (1) to contribute your knowledge to the realization of customer projects and (2) to participate in the development of the development skills center.
In this sense, here is a glimpse of what your responsibilities will be:
- Significantly improve our customer’s ability to fully exploit data while managing risk.
- Contribute to the enrichment of a new platform with data blocks.
- Understand, formulate and challenge business needs, and translate them into data specifications that will contribute to the delivery or enhancement of analytical products.
- Using Azure Data Factory for data lake ingestion
- Using Databricks for data transformation and loading
- Using Spark/Scala/Python to develop loading libraries
- Participate in the development of the new ingestion model using Databricks Streaming
- Develop best practices for data quality validation
- Collaborate with the team to maintain platform consistency and ensure knowledge transfer
- Participate in Agile team meetings (Sprint Planning, Task breakdown, Sprint Review and Retrospective).
- Participating in meetups and providing technical support to projects and teams.
Experience required
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in data and analytics
- In-depth knowledge of how to use and configure the Databricks solution;
- Understanding of data engineering tools and machine learning models;
- Knowledge of other data packages (Snowflake, Fabric, Airflow AWS, etc.);
- Strong experience in CI/CD process development and automation (e.g. Azure DEVOPS or equivalent);
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, Jfrog, C#, etc.);
- Be familiar with the key concepts surrounding data (transformation, storage, modeling, etc.);
- Knowledge of the Scrum process framework (or other Agile methodology);
- Fluent in French and English;
- Knowledge of continuous configuration automation (IaC) frameworks/tools an asset;
- Project experience in Business Intelligence an asset;
