We are looking for an Application Support Engineer in the BASEL 4 area to join our Risk IT Support and Risk Finance Convergence team.

Discover your future responsibilities

  • Maintain the operational readiness of the entrusted applications:
    • Daily operational follow-up of the Functioning activity (Incidents, requests, problems)
    • Incident management Level 1, 2, 3.
    • Application production monitoring.
    • Managing user requests
    • Perimeter change management.
    • Advise users on the use of the application system
    • Expertise in KUBE technical environments (Spark / Minio S3 / Oracle / Kubernetes / ELK / ArgoCD / ArgoWorkFlow…)
    • Interact with IT ecosystem players, project teams and production teams
    • Participate in various project team/operations committees
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT operations (advice, help with documentation / communication / management of atypical cases, etc.).
  • Manage the improvement plan on the application and follow-up of remediation action plans.
  • Vulnerability management

Your expertise

  • 4+ years’ experience required
  • Experience in IT support functions, IT skills with an appetite for credit risk management.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and their derivatives
  • Solid IT skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Technological knowledge: Kubernetes / Spark / Minio S3 / Oracle / Kubernetes / ELK / ArgoCD / ArgoWorkFlow …)
  • Banking functional knowledge/experience in risk management (credit risk, counterparty risk, market risk, etc.)
  • Bilingual English/French
