We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our client in the capital markets sector. You will become a member of a dynamic team in an ambitious business environment.

As anApplication Support Analyst, your role is to act as a point of entry for business users, guiding them in understanding and using the information system, helping them to understand and solve problems, and monitoring applications in production.

You ensure that the needs expressed by the business are matched with the solutions proposed by IT. You are responsible for the functional support of applications.

  • Management of requests and incidents in collaboration with the functional, MOA, MOE and infrastructure support teams:
    – Management of incidents, including identification of root causes
    – Implementation of actions required to restore service
    – Management of user requests
    – Documentation of incidents and updating of procedures
    – Management and follow-up of problems
  • Change and release management:
    – Contribution and validation of architecture documents in the project phase
    – Recommendation of technical solutions in line with production standards
    – Validation of changes from a technical point of view, validation of deployment scripts and procedures.
    – Realization of changes in pre-prod and UAT
    – Realization of changes in production and validation testing.

Your expertise

  • Functional :

– Basic knowledge of market finance and financial products
– CIB operations and front-to-back deal life cycle
– Knowledge of ITIL processes
– Good documentation writing skills

  • Techniques :

– Good knowledge of scripting (ksh, VBA, power shell, perl)
– Scheduler: Control-M
– Systems: Linux, Windows server, IIS, MQ
– Monitoring: use and configuration of a monitoring tool such as ITRS / ELK
– Excellent command of SQL
– Knowledge of Murex an asset

  • Methodologies :

– Agile approach / Delivery management

Your know-how

  • Bilingual English/French
  • Solution-oriented mindset, sense of partnership with business lines
  • Ability to work on complex projects with a strong regulatory or international dimension
  • Organizational skills, rigorous documentation and follow-up of deliverables
  • Strong analytical, listening and communication skills
